Common Dental Emergencies We Treat at Our Clinic

Our Orléans clinic treats a wide range of urgent situations. When something goes wrong, you get the right care fast.

General Dentistry Ottawa

Knocked-Out Teeth

Act fast. A knocked-out tooth has the best chance of being saved within 30 to 60 minutes. Keep it moist in milk, or hold it between your cheek and gum. Handle it by the crown only, not the root. Call our Orléans emergency dentist right away

Broken or Chipped Teeth

A broken or chipped tooth exposes the inner layers to bacteria and temperature. It might not hurt right away. Getting it looked at soon still matters. It helps prevent infection and tells us whether a crown or bonding will restore your smile.

Severe Toothaches

A toothache that will not go away often means decay has reached the nerve, or an abscess is forming underneath. Over-the-counter pain relief only covers up the problem. Our emergency dentist in Orléans can treat the actual cause.

Lost Fillings

A lost filling leaves part of your tooth exposed to decay. It might not hurt at first. The longer it sits untreated though, the more damage builds up. Call our clinic soon after it happens.

Lost Crowns

If your crown comes loose or falls out, keep it somewhere safe and call us right away. We will check the tooth underneath and get it restored as quickly as we can.

Abscessed Teeth

A dental abscess is a bacterial infection. It can spread to the tissue around it and even to the jaw. Watch for throbbing pain, swelling, fever, or a bad taste in your mouth. Do not wait if you notice these. Seek treatment right away.

Soft Tissue Injuries

Cuts to the lips, tongue, or gums can bleed heavily. Apply gentle pressure with clean gauze. If the bleeding will not stop, go straight to an emergency room.

What to Do Before You Reach Our Orleans Emergency Dental Office

Call us first. We will walk you through what to do while you head our way. For a knocked-out tooth, keep it moist in milk or your own saliva. For swelling from an infection, hold a cold pack against the outside of your cheek.
For a broken tooth, rinse gently with water and avoid chewing on that side. The sooner you reach our Orléans clinic, the more options we have, and the better your outcome tends to be.

Why Orleans Patients Trust Trillium Dental for Emergency Care

Every urgent case gets our full attention. Our team stays calm under pressure. The goal is always the same: to get you out of pain and back to your day.

We also follow up after emergency treatment. This confirms healing is on track and lets us plan any additional care your tooth might need. Your first visit is just the start of getting things fully restored.

I was in so much pain, and they got me in the same day. Super nice staff and Dr Aguilar is professional and kind. I recommend them 110%!!!
Edit : I went again today to finish my extractions. Again, the staff they are ALL amazing. Dr Aguilar is so wonderful. We all had a good laugh because of my 5 years old saying “For real?” when he ask if all of my teeth were gone.

Dr. Yamisleidis is the best! She is so calm and knowledgeable about her job. I and my kids were actually sleeping during our sessions with her. I also appreciate Rean her assistant , her support was all we needed. Thank you !

Thank you for the service. Great place to go ….recommend for
This Dental office is very unreliable. They book you an appointment at a specific time and they never take you in at that time. The last 4 times that I have been there I was told it would only take a few minutes and I have been there for well over an hour, sometimes 2. Why bother making an apointment if the time really doesn't mean anything ?? Always get an excuse that the Dentist is running behind but I see that other patients are going ahead of me. Anyways, I would not recommend this Dental Office as there are many other offices that have much better service in the Orleans area.

Excellent front desk staff. Friendly and compassionate
Dental hygienist was incredible, compassionate and very gentle. My anxiety stayed in tack. Dentist was gentle and lovely
I just came from my first appointment at this location and I’m so happy I had such a good experience with the whole staff starting with Flora at the front desk. Patrick was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain my X-rays, the cleaning process and to answer all my questions! Dr. Yamis was equally great - very welcoming and professional, and I give her extra points for speaking Spanish!
11/10 would recommend!
